Week 4 of Production


GRAPHICS AND ART

Current map layout:


There are now ruins in the level, which add to the temple/adventure feeling we're going for. 


The wooden platforms now also have actual support! A bunch of wooden pillars tied together and resting onto the sides of the platforms:

Minor detail: there are not only skulls... but also rib cages and bones are coming into in the level now! Excitement +100

Next up we will be working on the UI and HUD! Main mechanics are being refined for a more balanced gameplay in the future, definitely take a look at our next week's progress for that!


RFX:

For fx the main goal was increasing visibility, thats why we used allot of emissive shaders and textures. 


Movement and and physics of the fx was the real challenge, but we pulled it off. The only other plan we have for this is optimization. This will mainly exist out of making textures smaller.
